"Chromatic Fox Trot" was recorded to wax cylinder for the Edison Record Company in 1925 by the George Green-Frank Banta Duo - George Hamilton Green, xylophone and Frank Banta, piano. The vintage recording is one of the foremost examples of Green's virtuosic improvisational style. This new arrangement is my contemporary reimagining of this music and is scored for xylophone, marimba, and bass marimba.
